இந்திய சிவில் சர்வீஸ் தேர்வு வரலாற்றில் முதன் முறையாக இவ்வருடம் காஷ்மீரத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ஒருவர் இந்தியாவிலேயே முதலாவதாகத் தேறியுள்ளார். ஷா ஃபைசல் என்ற இவர் ஸ்ரீநகரைச் சேர்ந்த ஒரு டாக்டர். பள்ளி ஆசிரியரான இவருடைய தந்தை சில ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு தீவிரவாதிகளால் சுட்டுக் கொல்லப்பட்டார். தற்போது தாயார் முபீனாவுடன் வசித்து வருகிறார். கடந்த வியாழனன்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்ட சிவில் சர்வீஸ் தேர்வு முடிவுகளில் இவர் இந்தியாவிலேயே முதலாவதாகத் தேறியுள்ளார். காஷ்மீரிலிருந்து ஒருவர் சிவில் சர்வீஸ் தேர்வுகளில் முதலாவதாக வருவது இதுவே முதன்முறை.
”என்னுடைய இம்மகிழ்ச்சியை வெளிப்படுத்த வார்த்தைகளே இல்லை”, என்று கூறும் ஃபைசல் கடந்த ஆண்டுதான் எம்பிபிஎஸ் தேறியுள்ளார். தவிர, இதுதான் இவருடைய முதல் சிவில் சர்வீஸ் தேர்வு முயற்சி. “என்னுடைய இச்சாதனை எங்கள் காஷ்மீர் சமூகத்தைப் பற்றிய ஒருவிதமான மாறாத எண்ணத்தை மாற்ற உதவும்” என ஃபைசல் தெரிவிக்கிறார். இவருடைய இவ்வெற்றி காஷ்மீரிலுள்ள மற்றவர்களுக்க்கு ஒரு நல்ல முன்னுதாரணமாக அமையும் என்பதில் ஐயமில்லை.
தகவல் உரிமைச் சட்ட ஆர்வலர், காஷ்மீரிலுள்ள ஒரு தினசரிப் பத்திரிக்கையில் கட்டுரையாளர், மருத்துவர் என பன்முகத் தன்மை கொண்ட ஃபைசல், மிகப்பெரிதாக ஏதாவது சாதிக்க வேண்டுமென்ற எண்ணம் கொண்டவர் என்று அவருடைய தாயார் முபீனா கூறுகிறார்.
”இது மிகவும் மரியாதைக்குரிய தருணம்” என்று கூறும் கண்ணீர் மல்கக் கூறும் முபீனாவும் ஒரு ஆசிரியை. இம்மகிழ்ச்சியான தருணத்தைப் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள தனது கணவர் குலாம் முகமது ஷா இல்லையே என்று துக்கம் மேலிடக் கூறுகிறார். அவர் கடந்த 2002 ஆம் ஆண்டு தீவிரவாதிகளால் கொல்லப்ப்பட்டார்.
தனது தந்தை இத்தருணத்தில் இல்லையே என்று ஃபைசலும் வருத்தப்படுகிறார்.
ஃபைசலின் குடும்பத்தில் அவரது தந்தை தீவிரவாதிகளால் கொல்லப்பட்ட இரண்டாவது நபர். முதலில் ஃபைசலின் மாமாவும், முபீனாவின் சகோதரருமான இர்ஷாத் தீவிரவாதிகளின் துப்பாக்கிச் சூட்டிற்கு பலியானார். இப்போது ஃபைசலின் ஒரே எண்ணம், காஷ்மீர மக்களுக்கும், மத்திய அரசிற்கும் இடையே பாலமாகச் செயல்பட வேண்டுமென்பதே.
கடந்த 2009 இல் சிவில் சர்வீஸ் தேர்வெழுதிய 875 பேர்களில், 680 ஆண்களும், 195 பெண்களும் அடங்குவர். தில்லி ஐஐடியிலிருந்து பொறியியல் பட்டப்படிப்பில் தேர்ச்சி பெற்ற பிரகாஷ் ராஜ்ப்ரோஹித் என்பவர் இரண்டாவதாகத் தேறியுள்ளார். ஜவஹர்லால் நேரு பல்கலையைச் சேர்ந்த இவா சஹாய் என்ற பெண் மூன்றாவதாவும், பெண்களில் முதலாவதாகவும் தேறியுள்ளார்.
பாகிஸ்தானின் ஃபைஸல், தீவிரவாதியாகப் பயிற்சி பெற்று அமெரிக்காவில் வெடிகுண்டு வைக்க முயல்கிறான்; இந்தியாவின் ஃபைஸல் தீவிரவாதத்திற்கு தனது தந்தையையும், மாமனையும் பலியாகக் கொடுத்து விட்டு, தனது கடின முயற்சியால் சிவில் சர்வீஸ் தேர்வில் முதன்மை பெறுகிறான். இதுதான் இரு தேசங்களுக்கிடையேயுள்ள வித்யாசம்.

Important notification to IT staff

We are finding a major virus outbreak in network which is effected a number of workstations in our network. This virus mainly exploiting a recent vulnerability discovered in Microsoft system. Two weeks back we have circulated information for this vulnerability and a fix to all users. But most of the systems are not updated and effected with virus. Now it is effecting the availability of our critical services and it may open further backdoor to outside attacker. So all our It staffs are requested to take immediate action ASAP.
it’s major symptoms are follows
# Many, if not all Admin and/or user accounts are getting locked out and hence users are getting password prompts for email and internet services.
# Various necessary services are being shut down and disabled.
# You cannot access the Microsoft Update website or other antivirus vendor websites
# You may be experiencing errors related to SVCHOST
To prevent this infection you must update operating system patches especially for the MS08-067 vulnerability. And reset your users passwords and any local admin passwords to a complex password(we have enforced complex domain user passwords so users will have to set complex password next time if they don’t have).
